How to get the keycard for Duncan and Duncan Robotics? ›

The player character will have to accept the crew's request to continue the quest. Speak to duch*ess to accept. duch*ess will then hand over Sol's transmitter, and Sol will also give the Duncan & Duncan entrance card to the player character.

If it is there but it's not functioning, try restarting 76. The most common bug is the keycard swiper not showing up or not functioning. Did you talk to sol, the duch*ess and the robot head n the jug after returning to the wayward? The second door should function even if you have to clip through the first.

If you are having issues with the keycard to get into the Duncan building, try toggling the quest marker off for the quest, exit to the main menu and then toggle the quest marker back on.

After speaking with him, follow up the stairs behind him, and swipe your keycard on the left to open the door. Here, head to the back door on the left and swipe your keycard again. Approach the Assaultron body on the left, and attach the transmitter to it.

You'll spot the entrance on the left side of the Handy showroom next to an American flag. Up in the attic you'll find a note and holotape that reveals the password to the Assaultron showroom is 88888. Now you can enter the showroom, tag the assaultron body, and return to The Wayward. Talk to Polly to finish the quest.

Crane can also be kept alive by persuading duch*ess and Sol that Crane is still a human and they would be murderers if they killed him. Regardless, Crane will have a map and keycard on him that must be taken by interacting with him or looting his corpse.
